Scott Hanley WA9STI SOTA Tour Spring 2018
Sun, Apr 29, 2018 at 2:44 PM
Greetings,
I have attached a schedule of a SOTA tour I am going to do after attending the Dayton Hamvention. I like activating from states that I have not been to before so am hoping to pick up 8 new ones. I did something similar after attending Dayton in 2014 where I did 7 states. I am trying to do the activations within a week's time so everything is subject to change, especially if weather plays a factor.
As usual, I like to start on 30 meter CW, followed by 20 SSB, 20 CW, 40 SSB and 40 CW. I will be running APRS both as WA9STI-9 and WA9STI-7 and will try to Spot via APRS2SOTA. I do plan on posting Alerts the day or two before. These Alerts and Spots can be viewed on sotawatch.org .
Hope to work you from a mountaintop.
